After you reattach the wires, double check the anti-rotation rod mounted to the right side of the tractor. The rod should be through one of the holes in the clutch.

I had the same thing happed to a customer last week and he needed the serial number. If your tractor was ever serviced by Sears, we should have the serial number on file. There is also a chance the sale person put the serial number in the system when you bought the tractor.
To find out if we have the number, please call 1-800-469-4663. This number is to set up service but they should have access to your information. They should just need the phone number you had when you purchased the tractor. I hope we have the serial number on file.
